About throat cancer
There are several different types of cancer which can affect the throat, mouth, neck and chest. Cancers in this area of the body are what we at TCF refer to as ‘throat cancers’, but medically they are known by other names that you may hear from doctors, nurses and researchers: oropharyngeal cancer, head and neck cancer, oral cancer, and mouth cancer.
In this section of our website, we have tried to be as comprehensive as possible with the different ways cancer can affect this part of the body. Here you will find information on the types of cancer and the symptoms you should watch out for.
Whilst our information is as accurate and current as possible, it should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice from your doctors.
