GIUSEPPE’S RUN FOR VOICES

Giuseppe Miuccio is taking on an extraordinary challenge for the Throat Cancer Foundation: running 50 kilometres in 50 countries.
His challenge, Run for Voices, is a personal tribute to his uncle, Antonino — known to Giuseppe as Zio Nino — whose life was changed by throat cancer.
For Giuseppe, this is not just about running. It is about family, memory, awareness and giving something back. Throat cancer can affect much more than someone’s health. It can affect their voice, confidence, identity and the way they connect with the people around them.
Through Run for Voices, Giuseppe is carrying his uncle’s story across countries, cities and communities. Every 50K run helps raise awareness of throat cancer and funds to support the work of the Throat Cancer Foundation.
The challenge
Run for Voices is a global endurance challenge with a simple but powerful aim: 50 kilometres in 50 countries.
Each run is a test of physical strength, mental resilience and determination. But the reason behind the challenge is what makes it so powerful.
Giuseppe is running in memory of his uncle, and for everyone whose life has been changed by throat cancer. Each country, each kilometre and each donation helps keep the conversation going.
Why this matters
Throat cancer can affect the way people speak, eat, breathe and live. For some people, treatment can mean permanent changes to their voice.
Giuseppe’s challenge is a powerful way of raising awareness of that reality. It reminds people that throat cancer is not just a diagnosis. It affects families, relationships, confidence and everyday life.
By taking this challenge across 50 countries, Giuseppe is helping more people hear about throat cancer, understand why awareness matters, and support the work being done to improve prevention, earlier diagnosis and patient information.
Support Giuseppe
Giuseppe’s Run for Voices challenge is already taking him across countries, cities and communities — all in support of the Throat Cancer Foundation.
You can support Giuseppe by donating to his JustGiving page, following his journey and sharing his story with others.
Every donation helps the Throat Cancer Foundation continue its work around prevention, earlier diagnosis, patient information and support for people affected by throat cancer.
