SEV’S 96-MILE WEST HIGHLAND WAY CHALLENGE

At just 11 years old, Sev is taking on an extraordinary 96-mile challenge along the West Highland Way in memory of her much-loved great grandad.
Over 10 days, she will walk one of Scotland’s most famous long-distance routes, facing hills, changing weather, long days and tired legs.
But this challenge is about far more than miles.
Sev is walking in memory of her great grandad, who died from throat cancer in 2025. Known affectionately in the family as “Chap Chap dede”, he was a huge part of her life. This walk is Sev’s way of honouring him while helping others affected by throat cancer.
We’ll update this page throughout Sev’s 10-day journey.
