HPV and Throat Cancer Guides get major endorsements

The Throat Cancer Foundation (TCF) is delighted to announce major endorsements for our ‘HPV and Throat Cancer’ guides, from two of the UK’s leading organisations responsible for delivering and supporting head and neck cancer services.

The British Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (BAOMS) and The British Association of Head and Neck Oncology Nurses (BAHNON) have expressed both the value and clarity of information contained in the guides for medical professionals, patients, and their loved ones.

The endorsements from these highly respected organisations recognise the hard work and dedication that our team put in to ensure they are a first-class resource. It has been a driving force for TCF that patients have access to the latest up to date HPV and throat cancer information and that medical professionals are supported in how to communicate better with patients dealing with the emotional impact of the disease.

We are grateful to BAOMS and BAHNON for the endorsements, as well as all the medical teams and patients throughout the UK who contributed to helping us create the guides.

‘’BAOMS fully supports the Throat Cancer Foundation. The HPV and Throat Cancer guides offers a summary of the current best available knowledge in the field of HPV-driven throat cancers. They are a brilliant source of information for healthcare professionals, patients, and the general public!’’

“BAHNON is delighted to support the Throat Cancer Foundation and their HPV and Throat Cancer guides. They are clearly written, concise, and contain the most up to date resource for patients and healthcare professionals.”
