Patient Journey: Paul Younger

Paul Younger, 53, was diagnosed with tonsillar throat cancer caused by HPV in January.

He is sharing his personal diary detailing his treatment and it’s effect on his life with the Mail on Sunday and you can read it here.

Please note that this is a very honest personal account which includes the effects that treatment has on the body, and is only the first part of a longer series. Cancer treatment is aggressive – it has to be to destroy the disease, but please be assured that things do get better.

If you are concerned, worried or upset, please contact us – we’re happy to chat and share our experiences. Our founder, Jamie Rae, had throat cancer and is now cancer free and leading a normal and happy life.
